Where do they go?

Quilts and blankets can go to any child who is in need of cheering and comforting. Hospitals, hospices and refuges are popular but if you know of any child or children's organisation that would benefit, please let us know and we will try to help.

What Sort of Quilts?

Project Linus can use all sizes and types of quilts as long as they are machine washable, robustly made and do not have any buttons or lacey bits that could get pulled off or snag tiny fingers. Some hospitals may have particular requirements, however, so check with your nearest co-ordinator what the requirements are in your area.

Knitted Blankets

Not all co-ordinators are able to take knitted blankets as not all outlets will take them. This may be because they do not machine wash as well, or because there is more likelihood of stitches catching on hospital equipment.
