About Us

Project Linus UK is a Community Interest Company (No. 08422226).

Project Linus UK is run by a team of volunteer Co-ordinators. Our dedicated Area Co-ordinators organise sewing and fundraising events across the UK, as well as liaising and distributing quilts and blankets to their local hospitals, children’s hospices, women’s refuges, foster carers, special schools, bereavement services and many other places where support is given to children ‘in need of a hug’. Area Co-ordinators will also visit groups such as craft groups, the Women’s Institute, U3A, local quilting groups and other organisations to spread the word about Project Linus UK.

How to get involved

There are many ways to get involved and support Project Linus UK. Our Area Co-ordinators are always looking for volunteers to make quilts and blankets. They may also need help in distributing these donated items. Donations of suitable patchwork fabrics and threads or help with fundraising to purchase fabrics and wadding are always welcome. Contact us to find out how you can help support their work in your area.
