Great Gunnersbury Quilting Bee

Gunnersbury Park Museum, Popes Lane, London W5 4NH

Come and meet Area Co-ordinator Jacquie Cranfield. Her volunteers are taking part in the Sewing Bee. They will be hand sewing nine-patch blocks which will ultimately be made up into Linus quilts, as well as having a sales table. This is part of a whole range of quilting events organised by Gunnersbury Park Museum around the display of the Acton Coverlet, a beautifully appliquéd and embroidered work dating from the early 19th century.
